Question 562417: What is the midpoint of coordinates (1/2, 1/3) and (3/2, 5/3)? My answer is (1,1), but that doesn't line up as the midpoint.
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The midpoint formula is the average of the x and y coordinates.
1/2+3/2 = 4/2 = 2 and 2/2=1
1/3+5/3=6/3=2 and 2/2=1

The midpoint is (1,1)
