Graph 3x + 2y = 6.
Answer by funmath(2933) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph 3x + 2y = 6.
Use the intercept method this time because it's easier.
Let x=0 and solve for y.
3(0)+2y=6
0+2y=6
2y=6
2y/2=6/2
y=3
Plot (0,3)
:
Let y=0 and solve for x:
3x+2(0)=6
3x+0=6
3x=6
3x/3=6/3
x=2
Plot (2,0)
Connect the dots and you have a line that looks like:
Happy Calculating!!!
