this gets rid of the decimals and sets it up for elimination

+30x - 120y = -15
-30x - 60y = 105
-----------------------adding eliminates x, find y
-180y = 90
y =
y = -.5

Find x, replace y with -.5 in the 2nd original equation
-3x � 6y = 10.5
-3x � 6(-.5) = 10.5
-3x + 3 = 10.5
-3x = 10.5 - 3
-3x = 7.5
