Put your equation in the form y=mx+b

From here (0,b) will always be a point on our graph (since b is the y-intercept) and you can use your m value to get another point.
Since m is rise/run, let's say we have m=5/3 we need to go up 5 and over 3 . If our m is negative say -5/3 we would go down 5 and over three. Then get your handy ruler out and connect the points and extend :)
