Question 546223: write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line parallel to 2,-3y=5 that passes through (0,-1)
Answer by NAMath(12)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope Intercept form+ mx+b
first you put 2-3y=5 into slope intercept form
subtract 2
-3y=3
divide by -3
y=-1
This is not possible because the equation is a horizontal line and (0,-1) already lies on the line
