equate the two

-10x
13x-10x-1=10x-10x+29
3x-1=29
+1
3x=30
x=10
plugt x
in y
y=129

Please help me solve this equation:
y=13x-1
y=10x+29
What you have here is a system of two straight line equations.
To solve, you must end up with an equation with only one variable.
To do this you can substitute x in terms of y or vise=versa, or use the elimination method.
In this case the easiest thing to do is equate the right side of both equations to each other since they are both=y.

13x-1=10x+29
3x=30
x=10
y=13x-1=13*10-1
y=130-1=129
This means the two lines intersect at (10,129)
