I am going to show you the intercept method.
-2x+5y=10
Let x=0
-2(0)+5y=10
5y=10
5y/5=10/5
y=2
Plot (0,2)
Let y=0
-2x+5(0)=10
-2x=10
-2x/-2=10/-2
x=-5
Plot (-5,0)
Connect the dots and you have a line that looks like this:
