I need to graph: g(x)=-1/2f(x+1)-3 and show 3 ordered pairs.

Define f(x) = ? ; the three coordinates of f(x) are (-5,4), (4,1) and (1,-2)

ax^2 + bx + c = y
25a -5b+c = 4
16a +4b+c = 1
a + b + c = -2

Use any method to find a,b,c
a =1/3
b =1/3
c =-8/3

f(x) = (1/3)(x^2 + x - 8)

So, f(x+1) = (1/3)(x^2+2x+1+x+1-8) = (1/3)(x^2+3x-7)

Then g(x)= -1/2f(x+1)-3
g(x) = (-1/6)(x^2+3x-7)-3

g(x) = (-1/6)x^2-(1/2)x -11/6
