This seems easy. Hopefully, the following can be helpful.
a) 0.50x + $3.00 = n
b) $0.50(5) + $3.00 = $5.50
c)x = the number of passengers, $0.50 = per passenger fee, $3.00 = the cost of parking n= total
The equation = 0.50(x) + $3.00 = n
