You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You didn't give directions for the second one, but here's the first one. The trick to solving formulas for certain variables is to get that variable all by itself on one side of the equal sign. We do this by perfoming opposite operations to the things we need to move to the other side of the equal sign. If they are added we subtract, if they're multiplied, we divide. Remember, whatever you do to one side of the equal sign you have to do to the other.
a=%281%2F2%29%28B%2Bb%29h
2%2Aa=2%2A%281%2F2%29%28B%2Bb%29h
2a=%28B%2Bb%29h
2a%2Fh=%28B%2Bb%29h%2Fh
2a%2Fh=%28B%2Bb%29
2a%2Fh-B=-B%2BB%2Bb
2a%2Fh-B=b
Resubmit your second problem with directions. Happy studying!
