Question 528014: Write the slope-intercept equation for the line with slope 3/4 and y-intercept (0, -5) and graph the line.
Answer by Maths68(1474) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope = m = 3/4
y-intecept = b = -5
Standard equation of the straight line (slope-intecept)
y=mx+b
Put the value of m and b in above equation
y=3/4(x)+(-5)
y=(3/4)x-5 (required equation in slope-intercept form)
simplify
Multiply by 4 both sides
4y=3x-20
