6%28y%2F6%29+=+6%28y%2B5%29 Simplify.
y+=+6y+%2B+30 The 6's on the left side cancel, leaving just y. Subtract 30 from both sides of the equation.
y-30+=+6y Subtract y from both sides.
-30+=+5y Divide both sides by 5.
-6+=+y or y+=+-6
