Question:
(We are trying to find my age (Alex) and the age of my friend (George). The follwoing are the clues):
I (Alex) have spoken to three people this morning.
If you multiply their ages by mine(Alex) you get 2,450.
If you add their ages you get double George's age.
One of the three people I talked to celebratd and important birthday that I celebrated 5 years ago.
How old is Geroge? How old am I?

Let a= Alex's age now
Ley g = George's age now
Let the other 3 be w, x, and y --> or rather let w+x be z, since we will let y be the person who has the birthday.

So, yza = 2450 --> eqn 1

y+z = 2g --> eqn 2

Let y be the person you talked to --> y = a-5

So, we have 4 things we do not know: a, g, y and z but only 3 equations, so I do not believe you can find out anything here. You need more information, relating the ages.
