The standard equation of a line is , where m = slope, and b = y-intercept (i.e. where the line crosses when x = 0).
In your case, m = 2, and y = 3. So, the equation is
Then, all you need to do is figure out two points on the line and connect them together.
You already know one: (0, 3) (when x = 0, y = 3)
Pick any value of x, and calculate its corresponding y value. I'll pick x = 1. Then, I have the point (1, 5)
