Question 519906: what is the equation of the line that passes through (-2,4) and (2,7)
Answer by oberobic(2304)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
m = (4-7) / (-2-2)
m = -3 / -4
m = 3/4
.
y = 3/4x + b
.
use one of the points to find 'b'
.
4 = (3/4)*(-2) +b
4 = -(6/4) + b
4 + 6/4 = b
22/4 = b
b = 22/4
.
y = 3/4*x + 22/4
.
