Question 514390: Give the slope and y-intercept for the graphs of the functions.
f(x)=x/7-12

Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=x/7-12
can be rewritten as:
f(x)= (1/7)x + (-12)
now, it is in "slope-intercept" form of
y = mx + b
.
From inspection we see that:
slope is 1/7
y-intercept is at (0, -12)
