Question 512899: I need help putting these in slope intercept form (-1,7) and (-2,-15)
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x1 y1 x2 y2
-1 7 -2 -15

slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
( -15 - 7 )/( -2 - -1 )
( -22 / -1 )
m= 22

Plug value of the slope and point ( -1 , 7 ) in
Y = m x + b
7.00 = -22 + b
b= 7 - -22
b= 29
So the equation will be
Y = 22 x + 29
