Question 511803:
Found 2 solutions by John10, AJtreelover:
Answer by John10(245) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You are in the right method (slope formula):
2 = 6/(5-r)
Multiply both sides by (5 - r)
2(5 - r) = 6
10 - 2r = 6
-2r = 6 -10
-2r = -4
r = -4/-2
r = 2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find trhe value of r
(r,3), (5.9),m=1/2
(3-2)/(6-r)=1/2
1/6-r=1/2
(6-r)/1 x (1/6-r)= 1/2 x (6-r/1)
1= 3-r/2
2/1 x
