Simplest form to write w/ only one point and one slope is point slop form
So...
m= Slope
(x1,y1) is one point
so...
Slope = 3
Point = (-6,-2)
To change to Y=mx+b form
1) Distribute
2)move 2 over to other side
Answer by rfer(16322) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=mx+b
-2=3*-6+b
-2=-18+b
b=-2+18
b=16
============
y=3x+16
