The equation y = -2 is really y = 0x - 2, which is in the form y = mx+b, where the slope is m


In this case, m = 0. So the slope is 0.

There is no change in 'x' and there is no change in 'y' ... so there is no slope.
Y=-2 looks like a horizontal line at -2.
