Question 502518: what is equation in slope intercept form for a slope 1.5 passes through(-5,1)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = mx+b
y = 1.5x+b
1 = 1.5(-5)+b
1 = -7.5+b
1 + 7.5 = b
8.5 = b
So the equation of the line is y = 1.5x+8.5
