Question 499147: I am so confused, how do I solve the given problem v=1/3t+4 to find the y-intercept?
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
v=1/3t+4 to find the y-intercept?
Assume the equation should be
y = t + 4
:
y intercept occurs when the other variable = 0, in this case t=0, so we have
y = (0) + 4
y = 0 + 4
y = 4 is the y intercept
