Question 496006: -6x+y=12
Solve for slope and x and y intercept. Please help!!! Thanks

Answer by bipinjha(3)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-6x+y=12
solution:
we have
-6x+y=12
or, y=6x+12
then, slope=6
again,
-6x+y=12
or, -6x/12+y/12=1
or, x/-2+y/12=1
so, x-intercept= -2
and y-intercept= 12
