Question 485954: what is the equation of the line? (-8,-8) and (3,3)
Answer by mananth(16949)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x1 y1 x2 y2
-8 -8 3 3

slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
( 3 - -8 )/( 3 - -8 )
( 11 / 11 )
m= 1

Plug value of the slope and point ( -8 , -8 ) in
Y = m x + b
-8.00 = -8 + b
b= -8 - -8
b= 0
So the equation will be
Y =x
