Hi Kaitlin,
So you want to put this in slope intercept form. To find the slope of the line parallel to this line, you just need to find the slope of this line because they will be the same. So...........
5x-7y=28
Subtract 5x
-7y=-5x+28
Divide by -7
y=5/7x-4
So the slope of the parallel line is 5/7 because slopes of parallel lines are equal.
