Hi Kaitlin,
THe easiest way to find the slope and y-intercepts is to put the equation in slope-intercept form so......
7x-4y=-36
Subtract the 7x
-4y=-7x-36
Divide by -4
y=7/4x+9
So the slope is 7/4 and the y-intercept is 9.
