Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+4y = 12
First ordered pair (x, y) is (0, y) To find the value of y, substitute x = 0 into your equation and solve for y.
3(0)+4y = 12
0+4y = 12 Divide both sides of the equation by 4.
y = 12/4 = 3
The first ordered pair is: (0, 3)
One more:
The second ordered pair (x, y) is (x, 3/4). To find the value of x, substitute y = 3/4 into your equation and solve for x.
3x+4(3/4) = 12 Simplify.
3x+3 = 12 Subtract 3 from both sides.
3x = 9 Now divide both sides by 3.
x = 3
The second ordered pair (x, y) is (3, 3/4)
Use the same technique to find the other ordered pairs
