Question 480653: I am trying to solve this equation Y=5/6x-2
Answer by wilft1(217)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i'm assuming that your plotting coordinates
replace the x with a number, and solve for y, that will give you both coordinates,
example
replace x with... lets say, 2
Y=5/6(2)-2
y=1.66-2
y= -0.34
so, our first coordinate would be (2,-0.34)
just keep doing this, swap out either x or y with a number and solve the equation, if you do it right, all the points should be in a straight line
