Question 479391: Determine the x- and y-intercepts:
x + (1/2)y = 2
Answer by wilft1(217) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
substitute x and y for zero...
sooo....
0 + (1/2)y=2 y=4 sooo, our x intercept is (0,4)
next we sub y for zero
x+ (1/2) 0 = 2
well, anything times 0 becomes 0 so x= 2 our y intercept is (2,0)
