Question 478683: Write the equation of each line that contains the indicated pair of points (4,5) and (-1,5). Express final equation in standard form. Show all work.
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x1 y1 x2 y2
4 5 -1 5

slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
(5-5)/(-1-4)
(0/-5)
m=0.00

Plug value of the slope and point ( 4 , 5 ) in
Y = m x + b
5.00 = 0 + b
b= 5 0
b= 5
So the equation will be
y=5
