animal equation: h + c = 22
leg equation::: 4h + 2c = 60

Divide thru the leg equation by 2 to get:
h + c = 22
2h+ c = 30
-----
Subtract and solve for "h":
h = 8 (# of horses)

Solve for "c":
h + c = 22
8 + c = 22
c = 14 (# of chickens)
