Question 4760: How do I solve this?
Creating an inconsistent system of linear equations
Find the value of "d" such that the system of equations
dx-15y=-10
4x+6y=-13
does not have a solution.
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the system is inconsistent, then the coefficients of the variables are in proportion. Set up a ratio and solve for d. That would be 6d--60, so d= -10.
