Question 47505: We know that perimeter of the circle C = 2pr and its area S = pr^2. Which of these two equations is linear and which is not? Why?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
C=2pr is linear because it is a function in "r" and r is to the 1st power.
S=pr^2 is not linear because it is a function in "r" and r is raised to
the 2nd power.
