Hi,
Identify the slope-intercept form of the equation of a line which contains the points
(–2, –1) and
( 3, 4) m = -5/-5 = 1 |
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = x+ b |Using ordered pair (3,4) to solve for b
4 = 3 +b
1 = b Line is y = x+1
