Hi,

purchased new computer equiptment for $25,000.00

(0, 25,000) represents the purchase price 

and the point (5,0) represents when the equiptment will be replaced.

 y = -5000x + 25,000

Ater 2 years (x = 2)

 y = -5000*2 + 25,000 = 15,000
