Question 468752: graph the equation using the slope and the y-intercept y=10/7x+3
Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b
m is the slope of the line {rise over run}
b is the y-intercept

y = (10/7)x + 3
slope is 10/7 {the line rises 10 for every 7 that it runs}
y-intercept is 3 {the line crosses the y-axis at 3}

To graph:
- put a point on 3 on the y-axis
- from there move up 10 and to the right 7 and put another point
- draw a line through the two points
