Question 467706: I need help on how to write an equation of the line w/ slope of 2/3 that passes through (4,-5).
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = mx + b
Use the point.
Sub x & y to find b.
-5 = (2/3)*4 + b
-5 = 8/3 + b
b = -23/3
----------
y = (2/3)x - 23/3
Is that sufficient?
