Question 4530: Solve for X
4x^2+5x-7<12x^2+16x-10

Answer by pushpaharan(47)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x^2+5x-7<12x^2+16x-10
12x^2+16x-10 - (4x^2+5x-7) >0
8x^2+ 11x -3 >0
x = (-11 +sqrt(217) )/16 or (-11 - sqrt(217))/16
x= 0.23 or x = -1.61
(x+1.61)(x-0.23)>0
if you use number line
x>0.23 and x<-1.61
