Don't know if you mean "9" to be the base or if you
want to find log (9sqrtx)
If you want it to be the base you have:
log(base 9)sqrtx = (1/2)log(base 9)x
If you mean log(9sqrtx) you have:
log9 +(1/2)logx
Or maybe you mean to change the base from 9 to 10; then you have:
log(9)sqrt= (logsqrtx)/log9 = (1/2)logx/log9
