Hi,
Using the point-slope formula,
(-4,3) and
(-2,1) m = 2/-2 = -1
Note: the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = -x + b
1 = -1*-2 + b
-1 = b
y = -x -1
