Can I get help with the following problem please!!
Find the equation of the tangent line to the curve y = (4x + 1) / (3x - 2) at the point (1, -2). (Write the line in y = mx + b form)
-----------------------------------------
f'(x) = [(3x-2)(4)-(4x+1)/(3)]/(3x-2)^2
---
f' = [(12x-8)-(4x+1)]/(3x-2)^2
----
f' = [8x-9]/[3x-2]^2
---
f'(1,-2) = [8-9]/[3-2]^2 = 1/1 = 1
-----
Form: y = mx + b
-2 = 1*1 + b
b = -3
----
Equation of the tangent line at (1,-2):
y = x-3

At (1, -2), , the slope of the tangent line.
==> Equation of the tangent line is y--2 = -11(x-1), or
y+2 = -11x + 11, or y = -11x + 9.

The point (1,-2) is not on the graph.
At x = 1, y = 5
