Answer by tutorcecilia(2152)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the formula for the slope (m) of a straight line:
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Plug in the values:
m =(8-(-4))/(-3-(-5))
Simplify:
(8+4)/(-3+5) = (12)/(2) = 6
