SOLUTION: solve for y, find the three points, and draw the graph for the following equation 6x+2y= -6
i have tried 6x+2y-6x+-6-6x
=2y/2-6x/2-6/2
=y=-6/2x-(-3)

I cannot say what 3 points you're looking to find.
But setting up the equation in slope-intercept form will enable you to graph it.
6x + 2y = -6
Divide both sides by 2 to remove the coefficient for y
3x + y = -3
Subtract 3x from both sides
y = -3x -3
So, know we know the slope is -3, so the line goes steeply down from the left to the right.
When x = 0, y = -3, defining the point (0,-3)
When x = -1, y = 0, defining the point (-1,0)
With two points you can draw the line.
Done.
