In 1995, the life expectancy of males in a certain country was 72.7 years. In 2002, it was 75.0 years. Let E represent the life expectancy in year t and let t represent the number of years since 1995.

The linear function that fits the data is E(t)=?
1995 = 72.7
2002= 75
in 7 years it increased by 2.3 years
in 1 year it increased by 2.3/7=0.328
E(t) = 72.7 + 0.328t
