Hi
Using the point-slope formula,
(1/6,-1/3)
(5/6, 3) m =
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = 2x+ b
3 = 2*5/6 + b |using ordered pair Pt(5/6,3) to solve for b
1/3 = b
y = 2x + 1/3 OR 6x - 3y = -1
