A line passes through (7, –6) and (8, –5). Write an equation for the line in point-slope form. Rewrite the equation in standard form using integers

slope = (-5--6)/(8/7) = 1/1 = 1

Find the intercept:
y = mx + b:
-6 = 1*7 + b
b = -13
----
Equation: y = x-13

Standard form:
x-y = 13
