Question 430965: I need help understanding the answer to this linear equation.
((x)/(x^2-1))-((x+3)/(x^2-x))= ((-3)/(x^2+x))
I know the solution is -6 I just can't seem to get there on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi

 |multiplying thru by x(x-1)(x+1)

   x^2 -(x+3)(x+1) = -3(x-1)

   x^2-x^2-4x-3 = -3x+3

             -6 = x
