Hi
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
Using the point-slope formula,
(2, -9) and
(4, 1) m = -10/-2 = 5
y = 5x + b
1 = 5*4 + b
-19 = b
y = 5x-19
