Question 427282: Given the linear equation y = 7/6x + 1 , find the y-coordinates of the points (-6, ), (0, ), and (6, ). Please show all of your work. Plot those points and graph the linear equation.
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given the linear equation y = 7/6x + 1 ,
find the y-coordinates of the points
(-6, ): y = (7/6)(-6)+1 = -7+1 = -6
(0, ): y = (7/6)0 + 1 = 0+1 = 1
(6, ): y = (7/6)6+1 = 7+1 = 8
