SOLUTION: Average rate of change...
f(x)=6x from x1=0 x2=4
Would it be 6 because change is 6 all around? Is there a way to work this out other than just knowing that?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Since it's linear, the avg rate is the same as the instantaneous, = 6.

To calculate it:
f(0) = 0
f(4) = 24
diffy/diffx = (24 - 0)/(4 - 0) = 6
